Biography

 

 

Claudia has extensive experience as a performer, teacher, and choreographer, which she developed in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  She has studied dance, singing, and acting with prominent teachers from Argentina and the United States.
She has also performed professionally in foreign productions such as My Fair Lady and Sweet Charity, in addition to several local productions. As well as on television, in movies, and commercials for Argentina, Peru, Spain, France, and the United Kingdom. She specialized in teaching Jazz, Theater Dance, Broadway-Fosse style,  Musical Theater, and Barre à Terre technique in the leading dance schools in Buenos Aires.


In 2002, Claudia was awarded a scholarship to participate in the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival Summer Program, Becket, MA., where she had the opportunity to meet and learn from international teachers, choreographers, and dance companies.


In early 2007, Claudia started working as a choreographer for shows and events, also for a television show with whom she ran a theater tour across the country under the local production Cris Morena Group. She later collaborated choreographically with the artistic roller skating group Baires Show, which won 4th place at the Brazil 2011 World Championship. 

In 2012, as part of a new adventure, Claudia moved to Orlando, FL. She taught various styles and rhythms honing her approach and her teaching style. She was recruited to participate with a team of choreographers of the American Dance Legend Season 3, a reality TV show broadcast locally.

Two years later, she moved to Boise, ID, where she was a dance teacher at Dance Unlimited, Boise Dance Alliance, Ballet Idaho Academy, Boise State University, the City of Boise-Parks & Recreation, Jack's Urban Meeting Place, and the YMCA.

Claudia choreographed Alice in Wonderland Jr. in a summer production from Boise Little Theater for the City of Boise. She was the choreographer for two years in a row for the Kickline numbers in the NYC Rockettes style for the Traditions of Christmas Spectacular by Laura Little Productions, Boise/Nampa, ID.

Claudia relocated to North Carolina during the pandemic and discovered a new way to teach remotely and globally. 
She later became a faculty staff of The Space at Project Dance, Boone, NC, where today, she keeps sharing her passion with her
 students and is actively engaged in the artistic events produced by the school and the Project Dance foundation. Furthermore, she gladly teaches dance classes as a volunteer for faculty and staff at Appalachian State University.

Claudia's teaching approach focuses on creating a connection and trust with people so that they discover their potential and develop self-confidence. Her goal is for people to learn to express themselves freely through dance, movement, and creativity.

Her dedication and passion are manifested in her quest to artistically connect diverse cultures.
She works hard to find new challenges and continues to grow in her creative path.
